There are two different packages you can take. First, you can buy a ticket which including exploring the beauty of Prambanan Temple. Second, you can buy a ticket for exploring Ratu Boko Temple only. The price is various depending on the age. For adult visitors, you have to pay around Rp. 25.000. For students and groups, you just need to pay around Rp. 10.000. For foreign visitors, you have to pay around $25. If you want to stay a little bit longer to enjoy the beauty of the sunset there, you have to spend around Rp. 35.000. It is also possible if you want to do specific events such as meeting or wedding ceremony. You can ask the customer service to know the price.

The Way to Go to Ratu Boko Temple

Most travelers love to go to Ratu Boko Temple because it is easy to reach out. You can go there by public transportation or rent a car. Let say, you want to go to this temple from Yogyakarta. What you have to do is go to Solo Street. Later, you will see the Prambanan three junctions and turn right. Then, go straight around 10 minutes and you will be arriving at the gate of Ratu Boko Temple. Just drive your car slowly to see the gate because the gate of this temple is not big enough. It will be challenging if you go there by using public transportation.

The easiest and fastest way to go to Ratu Boko Temple is by using the Trans Yogyakarta bus. Just choose to use 1A or 1B bus and stop at the Prambanan bus station. From this bus station, you can choose to ride traditional public transportation such as a gig or motorcycle. Even, it is okay for you to take a walk to go to the temple from the bus station if you want to do it. If you don’t want to take time, you can just take the first package explained above. By buying the ticket which including Prambanan Temple tour, you will be delivered by the tour guide with a car.

So, what is the best time to go to Ratu Boko Temple? The best time to go to this temple is in the evening before the sunset. Just go there a few hours before sunset. You can take a walk around the temple first to enjoy the beauty. Then, you can stop for awhile and enjoy the main attraction, fantastic sunset. If you still have free time, just wait until night. Ratu Boko Temple offers wonderful night scenery. The position of the temple makes you possible to enjoy the beauty of Yogyakarta at night. It is okay to go there in the morning or in the afternoon, but you have to wear hats or umbrella because it is hot there. The highest peak of this temple is during holiday so if you want to enjoy Ratu Boko temple peacefully, don’t go there during the holiday season.
